Remarks:
Probably the best “White Stripe” sent to Blue Zoo in this initial round of fish for sale.  While not perfect (would like to see better head shape and larger ventral fins), this is a pretty nice fish in the grand scheme of things.  The spots are really nice! I do not anticipate these spots to be something indicative of anything genetic at this time, but current experiences with Gold Flake Maroons are starting to suggest that there may be a genetic component at play here.  It’s a mystery.
A fish like this might wind up being culled or further grown out ordinarily. As with all fish being offered, the defects are not presumed genetic at this time, and the main reason for offering these fish is to broaden the size of the F1 population going forward (ensuring genetic stability where possible).
